Not in California anymore . . .

I was outside a couple days ago. This is NOT what I expected. I guess I'm not in California anymore.

This white stuff has promise, but it's too darned cold. I don't like being cold, do you? I didn't think so.

Anyone have any extra food? I'm going to need all the energy I have.

What, no food?! Fine, pet me.

Feed me. Pet me. <burr burr>

Inside or Outside Day?

Yin here. I'm apparently in this place called Los Angeles. I was inside doing my cat thing. The humans around me were busy on those computers. I got bored.

I visited a couple of people in the room but they didn't have time to pet me.

The window was there and I looked outside. It was sunny and beautiful. I had to go out and investigate the fountain. There weren't any fish, but still, it was nice.

It's too nice to be inside...

Pet me. Feed me. <purr, purr>

Accidental Tourism

I was with my human and then something unexpected happened: I wasn't with my human anymore. I was on my own. My human wasn't there. That's okay, I'm a cat. I don't need humans. I do, however, like regular meals. So while I was unconcerned being on my own, (cat, remember?) I didn't want to starve.

When it looked like the other human who's been around, (definitely NOT as willing to pet me as MY human,) was leaving, I grabbed the opportunity to tag along just to be sure I got fed.

Yep, I stowed away.

At first I felt a twinge that I might never see my human again, but then I'm a cat named Yin. If he named me, I had to believe I would see him again. In the interim I needed to eat. Since I started out as an international traveler, I decided to see where this ended up.

I found myself in this place called Los Angeles. It was warmer than where I started out. Since I'm a cat, I like being warm. Being warm was a win in my book if I couldn't be with my human. I just hope my human is okay and that we meet again.

All in all, I'm a lucky cat.

Feed me. Pet me. <purr, purr>

In the Beginning . . .

I am a cat. That means that I do what I like.

I guess you could say I started life as a Jellycat. That means that I was originally conceived in the UK, but apparently I was really made in Indonesia. My human minion is American. Given that I started life as a global traveler you can see how I came to it naturally. My human named me Yin. This made me happy. <purr purr>

My human is busy with this thing you call school. Why you humans put so much time and effort into learning things is beyond me. I sleep, eat, and do what I like. If you want to spend so much time learning things that's fine until I want you to pet me. Then you will pay attention to me.

This is me:
I know. I'm cute. That's enough for now. Pet me. Feed me.
